This position is based out of either Somerset, NJ or Detroit, MI with weekly travel to the client's site in Rockville, MD 3-4 days per week.

Pharmacy benefit management (PBM), Specialty Pharmacy domain
Client is pursuing Strategic Initiatives over the next 2 years to enhance and expand its business. A blended team of GalaxE and Client resources will review and analyze various applications. The team will be responsible for recommendation, design and construction.
The strategic platform is SOA based. The platform will be used by client to launch drugs for its customers.
This system will have front end and will be used by Customer services representatives to enter information. The information will be stored in DB and will also be used for reporting purposes. There will be data feeds incoming and outgoing from core system.
The system should be highly configurable to support rapid drug launches.


Qualfications:
We are looking for someone with a strong development background with Java. We are looking to convert VB6 to Java.
We are also looking for someone with experience working in the healthcare industry.

Candidates will travel to Rockville, MD 3-4 days per week.

· Existing system is VB and will be re-platformed to java technologies

· Experience in PBM domain
