    Resolved [RESOLVED] Form label quits refreshing the caption

    I have a process where I am reading records from one db table, as I loop thru the records I am assigning some text and the record number to a label on my form so I can see what record it is on. The issue is that it will randomly quit refreshing the form. It happens at all different spots. Does anyone know why is this happening? I assign lbl1.caption = "sometext" then I do a form.Refresh.

    Paint messages sent to the form to update the label are low priority and your other processing, probably a loop, is taking priority. After updating the label, try calling its .Refresh method, not the form's.

    Thanks much. I used combination of label.refresh and form.refresh and it worked. It stopped updating when I just tried to use label.refresh.
