New types of internet frauds
Hi,
Today I googled around for my ID (pradeep1210) to see how much I'm visible to the world.
And to my surprise I found many links where people have created IDs by my name
e.g.
These are not me and I've not created these IDs.

So, are these people using my reputation to their benefits?
And is there anything I can do about it?

Re: New types of internet frauds
You could go to their house and politely request they relinquish control over the username you suggested... either that or you can just forget about it.

It is possible. Your username indicates that there are at least 1209 other Pradeeps in the world.

There's another JuggaloBrotha on the web out there, I don't know anything about him though.
I did notice that it would appear that this other one started about 2 maybe 3 years after me and 99% of the google hits come up with results for me and not him so it's all good.

Just hope he doesn't resemble you facially, you've never posted any pics of yourself anywhere, and he never commits a crime!

I tend to use my first name everywhere, so I rarely get a logon with my first name.

mmm... I remembered the movie Lucky Number Slevin. It has Josh Hartnett standing in front of Morgan Freeman, claiming he is not the right guy. Freeman asks him, "Suppose I decide to give you x hundred thousand dollars, are you still the wrong guy?"
Rephrasing that, suppose you stand to gain by these people using the same ID, would you still like them removed?

I was upset when I found out that my alter ego had been using MY username. I could've kicked myself...

There is / was another visualAd who frequented a porn sharing forum. It did wonders for my reputation.

I think I'm actually the only FunkyDexter out there which is quite surprising really.
There seem to be a few Dexters but none of them has my funk.
