I think your printer not accepting the refilled cartridge. You need to buy a new one so the printer recognize it.

Re: Printer says "Cartridge not compatible"
i made a search on the web and found out that someone who has the same printer as me been using refilled cartridges for a while without any errors, also, if the printer doesn't accept refilled cartridges then a warning on HP website or with manual should say that.

Re: Printer says "Cartridge not compatible"
Hmmm.. In this case maybe the printer saying the error can't find the cartridges because the printer can't detect it. Try to buy a new one so if it works you can see the refilled cartridges are the error of your problem.

Re: Printer says "Cartridge not compatible"
I think the cause of the problem is the contacts on the cartridge is a little bit dirty, matbe i should refill a newly emptied cartridge.

Re: Printer says "Cartridge not compatible"
Just one question sir. You mean you try before that refiled cartridge is working fine and now it is not working?! If it is, just check the cartridge or ask who refiled your cartridges.

Re: Printer says "Cartridge not compatible"
If the contacts are dirty clean them...
But I just think the printer that doesn't accept it.
Why on earth would HP want you to refill your cartridge?
That would only be financial loss for them.
Try an original.
If you're on warranty and it doesn't work just send it back to hp...
If you're over warranty just buy a new one... The cost less than a set of new cartridges these days.
Delete it. They just clutter threads anyway.

But there're other HP printers that you can refill its cartridge and use it so easily, why HP will take these measures against a specific model.

Re: Printer says "Cartridge not compatible"
Working with refilled cartridges is too much of a hassle to be worth it. They also tend to print in bad quality. You really need to buy new cartridges. If you don't want to do that, you shouldn't be using an inkjet printer. Laserjet printers have a higher initial cost, but their cost of ownership is dramatically lower. Replacement toner is indeed expensive, but you need replacement toner much less frequently than replacement inkjet cartridges.
So either buy a new cartridge, or get a laserjet printer. Being cheap with printer stuff never works out.
