[RESOLVED] [Excel 2003] ADO - still messing up?

Hiya

    Set conD = New ADODB.Connection
    conD.Open DBConnect_CHAPsRptPartsDts
    Set rstD = New ADODB.Recordset
    rstD.Open strSql, conD, adOpenDynamic, adLockOptimistic, adCmdText

I am using this code to open a connection to the database. The connection is opening but is read only?

What am I doing wrong?




my references are for ms ado 2.5 - changing this to 2.8

There is another dll in there for msador15 (2.7 recordset).

Any ideas on getting read/write?

The location is read write and opening directly in access allows me to edit records/add records.

Forgot to reassign the sql string to the other table (doh!)
