    Resolved [RESOLVED] Access Recovery

    Not really a programming question.
Is there any way to roll back or recover files deleted in access about 3 weeks ago?

A client of mine made a shortcut instead of a copy and proceeded to delete everything for the new year information. I've basically told her she is SOL because our servers have backups too recent to fix the issue.

I was wondering if there was a soft delete setting in access or something I could use to recover her files for her.

    Thanks for any help,

    Smitty

    Re: Access Recovery

    Fast answer is no.

However there may be a very small possibility if they haven't compacted yet.

Access (I believe) marks items for compacting then removes them. So there may be something in MS site about it.

Otherwise I think the data is gone / only on backups...
