Filemaker / PHP question
I have to have a local FileMaker database that manages all aspects of a business. I would also this to integrate with a webstore, i'm not sure whether I need to use filemaker server, or whether i can integrate filemaker with the current mysql server, or whether i can merely upload the filemaker file onto the web site, then perhaps use php to use it as a backend...
I need some advice on what's the best route to take in respect of having a local filemaker db, with web integration (somehow!)
thanks!

Re: Filemaker / PHP question
Thanks, doesn't seem like it's going to be the best approach.
Can you think of a way that i can develop a server and client side interface (for the owner), that can easily be synchronised? I was thinking perhaps developing a mac application, but i'm not sure what backend to use locally that would work with the server and his computer...
Perhaps just have the server and his laptop both running (apache) php and mysql, would that work, and provide acceptable ability for synchronization, or is there an easier way?
Cheers
