What's grep?
Laugh, and the world laughs with you. Cry, and you just water down your vodka.
Take credit, not responsibility

Grep searches one or more input files for
lines containing a match to a specified pattern
I've only seen it on Unix, but it is probably on Linux as well.
I don't think that I've seen it under Windows.
But, I could be wrong, or mistaken

This should fix it:
# grep -i ZZ --sandpaper
Why would it stop working? This isn't Windows we are talking about, things don't just STOP working for no reason. Did you abuse it?

There's a dead easy way to fix that.
Use the repair command...
rm -r

The Grep utility belongs to SCO, so sorry, you will have to pay their $150 licensing fee from now on, once they actually establish appropriate means for someone to pay those fees. In the meantime, just imaging writing them a check.
Additionally, I'm sure a few other command utilities will fall to way side as well... like shutdown, pstree, and a few other very essential yet unglamorous functions.

But the Shutdown command doesn't have an alternative...
Henceforth, all Linux computers will have to be manually restarted by simply unplugging it from the wall, and repluggng it back in.

You mean that's not the normal way of doing it? That explains why I've got through 45 hard drives in the last 6 weeks.

I use the flip the circuit breaker method... and its much more secure than your patented method... because its open source.

No. Bill is a business man, who despite having the aura of evil, has done alot for the IT industry. So he'd more likely be sentenced to roam the earth till judgement day.

Well hes done questionable things. I wouldnt say bundling IE into Windows is evil, although people will tell you it was an evil scheme that caused Netscape to crumble. Nevermind that Netscape sucked major crank during the browser wars.
