I'm in the design process of making a small application for personal use. I've weighed up this next issue for some time but am at a loss to what my final choice should be

Do I make this web based or desktop based


Web: means it can be used on apple & windows, it means it's accessible anywhere and it i was to charge for use I don't have to worry about it becoming a torrent somewhere, i can makes changes at any-time and everyone is updated.

Desktop: When it's a "game" It's just not the same when it's on the web, so why make it desktop?
