    1) Private forums are forums where only certain users can read/write to.
    2) There are none on this board.
    3) 0
    4) N/A

    Where have you seen private forums referred to?

    Ah right - that is a remnant from the previous version of the UBB that has not yet been implemented. The basic idea behind private forums is that they provide a place where moderators and admins can gather and discuss things without them all being visible to the general public.
