    Well

I don't really know of any good tutorials.
    Try Planet-Source-Code.Com
Search there VB section for BitBlt.

BitBlt can be slow...A 2D scroller without music lagged on my comp, and with music it was un-playable, which is why I switched to DirectX.
So I suggest you get into DirectX asap and don't bother wasting your money on a book, where you can <Removed By Moderator> or at least find free tutorials around the net. "directx4vb.com".
