One of the very early interviews (1998) I was called for involved the following:
This was on VB6. There was no google.
1) Establish connection to a database and fetch a result.
2) Write a sort routine.
3) Write a routine to determine if a word is a palindrome.
Everything that has a computer in will fail. Everything in your life, from a watch to a car to, you know, a radio, to an iPhone, it will fail if it has a computer in it. They should kill the people who made those things.- 'Woz'
