Question Hello, I am a small fish that has bitten far bigger meal than it can chew.

    Hello,

I have three vbs scripts I found on the internet just for pranking purposes. The problem is that I do not know anything about programming and I have no clue how to combine those three scripts into a single one. I tried to copy-paste into notepad and it does all the scripts, but the loop command just stops the first script while looping only the second one.

    Here are scripts:
    Number 1:

    Set oWMP = CreateObject("WMPlayer.OCX.7")
    Set colCDROMs = oWMP.cdromCollection
    do
    if colCDROMs.Count >= 1 then
    For i = 0 to colCDROMs.Count - 1
    colCDROMs.Item(i).Eject
    Next
    For i = 0 to colCDROMs.Count - 1
    colCDROMs.Item(i).Eject
    Next
    End If
    wscript.sleep 5000
    loop

    Number 2:

    Set wshShell =wscript.CreateObject("WScript.Shell")
    do
    wscript.sleep 100
    wshshell.sendkeys "{CAPSLOCK}"
    wshshell.sendkeys "{NUMLOCK}"
    wshshell.sendkeys "{SCROLLLOCK}"
    loop

    Number 3:

    do
MsgBox ("Vaš kompjuter uskoro će se zagasiti i sve datoteke će se izbrisati.")
    loop

Here is what I tried to do with first 2 scripts:

    Set oWMP = CreateObject("WMPlayer.OCX.7")
    Set colCDROMs = oWMP.cdromCollection
    do
    if colCDROMs.Count >= 1 then
    For i = 0 to colCDROMs.Count - 1
    colCDROMs.Item(i).Eject
    Next
    For i = 0 to colCDROMs.Count - 1
    colCDROMs.Item(i).Eject
    Next
    End If
    wscript.sleep 5000
    Set wshShell =wscript.CreateObject("WScript.Shell")
    do
    wscript.sleep 100
    wshshell.sendkeys "{CAPSLOCK}"
    wshshell.sendkeys "{NUMLOCK}"
    wshshell.sendkeys "{SCROLLLOCK}"
    loop
    loop

But it didn't work, please help, for I am a terrible noob in this stuff that just wants to prank his friends. I know how to end vbs scripts in Task Manager once they start doing their thing, but that is about it.

Sorry, you won't get help with "prank" scripts here.

Oh, ok, do you suggest then closing this thread and reposting it somewhere else on this forum, or should I seek my help on some other forum? Either way, I will close this thread afterwards, thanks for your information!

This forum doesn't help with prank scripts. I wrote something a bit like this back in the days of DOS. It might have alarmed people, but back then, it likely wouldn't have mattered all that much. These days, you're likely to find that people are much less tolerant, even for pranks. There's too much genuinely bad stuff out there, so even friends would be likely to take such a prank the wrong way. Take it from a guy who has played some pretty notorious practical jokes: Pranking on computers is more likely to go wrong than most kinds of practical jokes.
    My usual boring signature: Nothing
