Displaying an HTML element using PHP?

I have a <div> in a PHP web page. I need to display this element as a popup form. It has a CSS element of "display" set to "none". I'm just not sure how to display this <div> using PHP. Any ideas?

Presumably it already has been echoed by PHP... if you want to display it using PHP then that would re-render the screen... which would likely defeat the purpose of a popup... istead, select the div tag using javascript and change the css class to one that is display: true - or what ever it needs to be to disaplay... I think you can also jsut directly set the display attribute and leave the class alone.
