    VS 2017 image Library location

Hi, does anyone perhaps know where in VS2017 is the image library located? e.g. the Binding Navigator button icons....

I know that the complete image library can be download form here:

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/down....aspx?id=35825

But I am just trying to locate the "Standard Binding Navigator Items"

    Thanks..
Don't miss the whole point of the dance...

Re: VS 2017 image Library location

Looks like they are resources that are baked into the System.Windows.Forms.dll file (the BindingNavigator Class is part of the System.Windows.Forms.dll assembly).

    Code:
    Dim assmbly = GetType(BindingNavigator).Module.Assembly
    MsgBox(Path.GetFileName(assmbly.Location),, "Assembly FileName")

    Dim assemblyResourceNames = assmbly.GetManifestResourceNames

    Dim ignoreCase = StringComparison.CurrentCultureIgnoreCase
Dim filteredResourceNames = (From name In assemblyResourceNames
                                 Let indx = name.IndexOf("bindingnavigator", ignoreCase)
                                 Where indx > -1
                                 Select name.Substring(indx)).ToArray

    MsgBox(String.Join(vbNewLine, filteredResourceNames),, "BindingNavigator Resources")
