Resolved [RESOLVED] Found an interesting uncharted folder in Visual studiio

    Hi.
I was deleting temp files and I have found this folder:
    C:\Users\myuser\AppData\Local\Temp\VSTelem
Now before I consider this 500mb of trash and delete, I wanted a second opinion.
Is this folder related to VS telemetry?
I have removed the telemetry package from visual Studio.
Is is now safe to say that I can delete the contents of this folder?
    Thanks.
    Slow as hell.

The folder Temp\VSTelem.out is used for telemetry (aka "Experience Improvement programme")

The folder Temp\VSTelem contains various things, but they certainly aren't all what you would think of as telemetry. The sub-folder \NgenPDB is probably worth keeping (unless you are desperate for space), because it contains debug/profiling info for .Net framework DLLs, there is some info here: https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/pro...db-generation/

    OK.
I'll keep it, although that is the only folder contains data in temp.
I got rid of the telemetry tool just in case.
    Thanks.
