Advice - Best way to detect what windows are open?

So, I'm wanting to make my own custom version of Task View as the inability to filter out minimized windows basically makes the function useless for me.

I'd like to find the windows that are currently open. My first thought was to get the process list, but I am unsure then how to check if the process is actually an open window (say Chrome, Outlook, etc.) and not just a background process with no UI. I had a look at the documentation for Process but didn't see any properties which might help me figure that out.

I wondered if perhaps there is a better way to do it that someone might know of?

    Any input would be appreciated.

PS: I only have 5 posts? Did that get reset?
