Office 2019 Killing VB in Normal.DOTM

    Hi All,

Recently Office 2019 has been forced upon us. We have been using the same custom Normal.DOTM for 4 years now, however the file is no longer loading. I have included it here in a zip file.

Full disclosure, I did not make this.

what office versions were you using previously?

i would try recreating the template in a new file, copy and paste the code, from a machine where it can open
i do my best to test code works before i post it, but sometimes am unable to do so for some reason, and usually say so if this is the case.
Note code snippets posted are just that and do not include error handling that is required in real world applications, but avoid On Error Resume Next

dim all variables as required as often i have done so elsewhere in my code but only posted the relevant part

come back and mark your original post as resolved if your problem is fixed

i did edit my previous post

if the file still will not load, try commenting out procedures or removing modules to see if it is a specific problem

have you tried any other .dotm files?
