I've stayed away from the webbrowser control opting instead to just use IE, Firefox, Chrome, etc.
The primary reason for this is:
In a cursory review of the webbrowser control it appears one can
just duplicate actions normally available within IE, Firefox, Chrome, etc..
Hence the webbrower control appears to just offer the ability to make another browser GUI.

However, I would like to do certain things that IE, Firefox, Chrome, etc. do NOT offer.
Specifically, actions between my computer and any web page.
For example:
1) Monitor whether any web page is attempting to make any file or registry changes on my system.
2) Do a virus scan of the web page as it loads.

Does the VB Webbrowser control or associated dll currently off this capability or the ability to
extend the control -- user developd web browser -- to address issues of concern?
