Resolved [RESOLVED] Mouse wont move when I touch the mousepad

    Computer: Toshiba Satellite C875D-S7105

    OS: Windows 8.1

Everything worked yesterday. Today when I try to use the mouse pad the mouse pointer will not move. I checked everything I could find and Windows say device is working properly.

On the PC I also have a USB plugged in to operate an external mouse which works perfectly. I know there is an option to disable internal mouse pointer if an external mouse is plugged in but this option in not checked and it has always operated both devices up until yesterday. Even if I remove the USB mouse the internal mouse still will not move.

OK, never mind, I found the answer. You need to hold down the FN button at same time press the F5. Each time you do this it will lock/unlock the pointer
