How to disable left mouse button drag and drop of a worksheet
Hi Folks,
Is it possible to disable the left mouse button so that a worksheet cannot be moved within a workbook? Built-in Excel protection options won't cut it. I have used code to disable copy/paste, however, the left mouse button will still allow for drag and drop of worksheets. This is messing up my formulas! FYI, I'm new to VBA, so any code I can scoop would be much appreciated.

The usual method of preventing moving or copying sheets would be to protect the workbook, however, if the users still need to be able to update data on the sheets, this may not work. We may need more data on what you want to allow your users to do.

I would think if you protect the workbook, and choose only "Structure," you'd accomplish what you're after. It will not allow you to move sheets, but will still allow the sheets themselves to be modified.
