Check if a website is open VB.net

i'd like to create a application in visual studio that can check if a website is alive and founded or not

So,

(Button 1)

(will check if link ("google.com") found in my (Chrome/Firefox) Browser,

then Message show (Website Found!), Else (Not Found)

i Searched And founded that i must make a Web request to check it out,

But Sorry i don't have any code Until now, i'm new in Visual basic.net

i'm using Visual studio 2017

To be honest i want make application detect if i pressed skip ads Website as (Adfly Shorten link) then will show me in application that i skip the ads successful by message Show (successfully Skiped ads).
