Need help fixing an error when adding a DataSource to my project

Hello, I had to reinstall Windows because VS was doing some crazy stuff. I installed VS2015 again, MySQL .NET Connector and MySQL for Visual Studio. Since VS had broken down my DataSet file in my project, I decided to erase it and add a new DataSource to my project (as I said I'm working with MySQL). Here's my problem:

    1. I Click "Add New Data Source" in the Data Sources Tab
    2. I Select Database and click Next
    3. I Select Dataset and click Next
    4. When VS asks for the connection string I use the same connection I've been using succesfully for 2 years and click Next
    5. I save the connection string (Tried the same name as before and a differente name)
    6. I get the following message:
    Name: Errorrecortado.jpg
Views: 60
Size: 22.8 KB

When I try using a new connection String, using root access I get the following message:
    Name: Error2recortado.jpg
Views: 48
Size: 36.2 KB

    Thanks in advance!

It seems like an issue with the MySQL components or MySQL itself. Someone who has more experience using MySQL with VS might have more insight but I'd be tempted to reinstall at least the connectivity components.
