"Runtime error '424': Object required" ONLY during
I have the following VBA code in a Word (2016) document template' ThisDocument-section
Code:
Private Sub Document_New()
Application.PrintOut
End Sub
When I run this sub manually from within the IDE, it runs just fine. However, when I open the dot-file to create a new document (and have it printed immediately) it returns a Runtime error '424': Object required error on the application.printout-line.
Any ideas how can I fix that?
Thank you and best regards,
Thomas

Re: "Runtime error '424': Object required" ONLY during
works ok when i test, but i do not have 2016
i do my best to test code works before i post it, but sometimes am unable to do so for some reason, and usually say so if this is the case.
Note code snippets posted are just that and do not include error handling that is required in real world applications, but avoid On Error Resume Next
dim all variables as required as often i have done so elsewhere in my code but only posted the relevant part
come back and mark your original post as resolved if your problem is fixed
