    How to check to see when the "Back" button is clicked on a Browser

    What Event in an ASP.Net application can the clicking of the "Back" button (see image) be checked?

    I wouldn't go there.
    I think i know what you want to do but it's a real pain.
    I would be more concerned to have a cookie or something that is holding a page session and when back if click, to see if it has data (so you where in that page before) and do staff.
    Manipulating back button changes from browser to browser and browser version to browser version and is very hard to handle.
    You may try to hide it and shows up with a smile in another browser or in another version.
