Need help rewritting my code for optimal and fast speed performance
Hello,
I have a program in VB6 written for many years, used by a very few clients till today but which have now started running extremely slow with larger client's database. I have posted this in the "Visual Basic 6 and Earlier" thread before but someone advised i post it here for a paid service to get quicker, better response.
So here i am, pls download the small program i need help with here :
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1twM...VwuM_bH9Z/view
I have 6 command buttons in the program, i need help for the codes in all 6 command buttons rewritten and optimised for better coding. My methods of coding are obviously not good enough and i need urgent help on this. Very very Urgent help (if possible get it sorted today) and would pay for it.
Thanks.

Hello, the link contains the source code and even database to see how it works.
The file is a .RAR file and you would need to unzip with WINRAR after its downloaded.
Thanks for the help

Your project contains a lot of References to missing components (i.e. Crystal Reports 10, Microsoft SQLDMO, Microsoft RDO, ...), so those who do not own these components can not load the project.
Also, it seems that your database is SQL Server, if so:
- What version is it?
- How come you do not have the MDF extension?
- Why is not there also the LOG file?
If you want a real help you have to review your project, and correct these problems, otherwise I doubt seriously that someone can help you.
P.S. To open the RAR file, need WinRAR or the 'best' 7-zip (totally free).
