    Guide for using RMCONTROL.OCX?

I've recently discovered the RMCONTROL.OCX file, and with a bit of guess work and looking at a demo project that uses it I've finally got myself a textured planet rotating.

But I'm really in need of some sort of a guide to help me further, does anyone know of any?

    Spefically I need to know

if it's possible to have a semi-transparent sphere over the existing sphere to replicate an atmosphere.

to apply a colour hue to the final rendered image

change the light colour of the image

how to orientate the texture - I have earth, but it's "upside down" from what we are used to seeing.

can you detect the frame object being clicked on?

Copy the shown image into the VB Picturebox object (I may need this, depending on the results of my experiments)

    Thanks in advance

From where did you discover it? Was there no corresponding documentation?

Having less that no clue what it is, I googled it, but what I got in return were mostly other questions on how to use it.

Just a demo project on Planet Source Code that shows some features of it and the ease of using it, nothing to really get you into the flesh of things.
I've tried doing some net searches without much luck (like yourself).

It's all to do with Direct3D, from what I've seen it's not the best thing to use, but ideal for new people, and for the scope of my project, it appears to be perfect.
