Re: yellow error when posting code
The thread in question is this one:
http://www.vbforums.com/showthread.p...exisiting-file
This is a case of the Something Went Wrong error, but it feels different. The problem came when adding code to the post. I can see that B. Sandwich tried to edit the code after it messed up, and I tried as well, but the only result was that more of the code was chopped off with each attempt.
Way back when this problem first arose, I saw it in code posted into a thread. I was able to narrow it down to just one line, but there was nothing unusual about that line, as far as I could see. This seems to be the same case, which I haven't seen in at least a year. I ended up closing the thread once a new thread was successfully started on the topic. All attempts to improve the code in the original thread resulted in losing more and more of it, such that the question became kind of silly as the code went away.
My usual boring signature: Nothing
