    MCI32.OCX only play WAVs , no MP3s in Windows Server 2012 R2

    MCI32.ocx registers ok, it can play waves, but not mp3s... is needed to enable something in that win server?

    I thinks this has to do with this windows hasn't Media Player Clasic or some of its components, mci32.ocx is reliying on that?.... I am curious, because we used to have others customers same window server, and it works.

    I can't find anything related to the issue in Internet.... sure, it is not new, right?.

    I tried to enable the "Direct Play" accesory, but installing DX was like a shot with the only seemly related "accesorie", of course it didn't anything.
