Resolved [RESOLVED] DatePicker, why no child windows?

Anyone know any of the nitty-gritty of the DatePicker?

Why doesn't it have one or more child windows (and hWnds) similar to the ComboBox?

Likely owner drawn window. From appearance this appears to be the case -- not themable. Think of a usercontrol with no controls (other than possibly windowless controls) and/or objects are drawn on demand.

P.S. The dropdown calendar is a separate window, but appears its buttons are also custom drawn vs. individual windows.

Yeah, that's sort of what I'm figuring out too. I think I jumped in a rabbit-hole, and I'm going to just climb back out before I get lost.

    Thanks,
