.vbs file failing to execute
I am a newbie to .vbs files. I have a .vbs file required to execute to set up a mobiel service connector for a server based application.
the instructions say: "Change Directory to the Ideal for Windows base directory.
Run/type: IdealConnectorServiceInstall.vbs"
But when I go to the Windows 10 Command prompt, go to Dir the file is located and do a "Run" then that command is not recognized.
When I try a cscript filename.vbs, it errors out with Path\filename.vbs(17, 1) WshShell.RegWrite: Invalid root in registry key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\IdealConnector\Parameters\".
This is a new Windows 10 set up server.
Any ideas?
Thank you!
