[RESOLVED] Lost Books of the _________
A short time ago, dilettante (I believe) posted this link when helping someone with the MSChart control: http://www.jasbir.info/laureate/note...ppendix-b.html
I went there and also noted a TABLE OF CONTENTS link (http://www.jasbir.info/laureate/notes/vb6/ewtoc.html), which works just fine (like the Appendix B link worked). However, most of the links in the TOC are no longer available on-line.
I DO have plenty of VB6 help books, but don't have this one, and besides, using on-line (electronic) versions of VB6 books helps quite a bit for rapid search of an issue.
My question is, did anyone ever capture (and save) the entire contents of this 1998 book? Or, do you know where there is one on-line elsewhere. Not sure if it was deleted because of copyright/ownership reasons or not, but would like to see if it is available (on-line in electronic version) anywhere.
The information given for the book is: Mastering Visual Basic 6
by Evangelos Petroutsos
Sybex, Inc.
ISBN: 0782122728 Pub Date: 08/01/98
A paperback version is available at Amazon (cheaply), but would rather have on online one.
I DO have Evangelos Petroutsos' Mastering Visual Basic .Net, but want one for VB6,

Re: Lost Books of the _________
The link turned up in a search, but I'm a little dubious of its provenance. The site's main page looks very fishy.
As far as I can tell this was never released in any eBook format.

Found it on Amazon for about $7.50 including shipping. Search for the ISBN #.

Re: [RESOLVED] Lost Books of the _________
Thx DM....i'll peruse that later. jpbro...Yeah, I know (and mentioned above) about buying the tree-killing book on-line. Some of those offered MAY have the accompanying CD (one seller I contacted said "sorry, no", another said they are too big of a company to check out individual books (!!!!). But even then, the CD will only have examples, not the entire words of the book which aids me more in learning than in just looking at someone else's examples.

Re: [RESOLVED] Lost Books of the _________
No problem...I do it all the time (don't read closely enough). Thanks for the suggestion though.
