    Resolved [RESOLVED] Cannot connect to vbforums at home.

    Hi.
    I can connect at work but I cannot open the website from home.
    Athens, Greece.

    I get a server not found.It's like there is no forum at all.

    Have you fire walled anything?
    thanks.

    Did this just start and have you made any type of change on your end? (different browser, ISP, router etc)

    Re: Cannot connect to vbforums at home.

    Hi.
    @Brad
    I do not have my home IP at work but is also DHCP, I cannot post it when I get home because I cannot connect to the website from home.
    If you want it then I can make a note and write it down and post if from work tomorrow or you can send me an email and reply there.

    @Steve
    This was going on for about a week or so but I was on Xmas vacations and i thought that it was a generic issue, so when i went to the office, I saw that I can connect from there and not from home. The only difference is that i' bought a new model about a month or so but the site was working fine till recently.

    Thanks.

    So...
    I'd like to say that we put all our resources into fixing the issue, and we're glad to see our efforts resolved the problem.....

    but, I'm guessing something on your side changed.

    Regardless, if everything is now working, we'll call this closed!

    i do have the same here (Central Europe). The host Name does resolve to an IP but a ping Fails with the ISP i use at home. i did a Tracert and it failed somewhere in the US. i can post Details of the route if required. if i try with my phone (and disabling WLAN so that it is using ist own ISP) it usually does work.

    interesting - i have exactly the same problem since months (in Austria).
    i thought itīs just me, but now i found this thread.
    Sometimes it works after restarting the router, but very seldom.
    I have never seen this problems with other sites, there must be something specific.
    I can connect by VPN to my work and verify that itīs working from there - but not from home. If IP/tracert details help, i will copy them from home.
