Reply disappears
Not sure I've ever seen this before but I've seen it twice today.
In both cases I did a "quick reply" and after clicking the "submit" it just disappeared. Refreshing the thread page showed the new reply.
I don't think my browser has been updated or any oddball settings changed. No ad-blocker in use.

Re: Reply disappears
Hmm, just did another one and things worked normally. Hmm.
IE 11 in case it matters.

Re: Reply disappears
I saw that happen, once, a few days back...then it went away and has never happened again. That would have been in Chrome.
My usual boring signature: Nothing

Re: Reply disappears
I saw it again. No pattern I can detect yet.

Re: Reply disappears
Guys
Today I experienced a similar variation.
I wrote stuff in the Quick Reply box and hit the
Post Quick Reply button (there is no Submit option).
I could not see my post unless I re-entered the room
(crude variation on Refresh)
However, occasionally I have wanted to preview
my reply, so I instead hit the Go Advanced button.
After editing it there are 2 other options
...Submit Reply
...Preview Post
Hitting Submit Reply works as expected .. I then
see my post under the other posts.
There seems to be an unexpected difference between
...Post Quick Reply
...Submit Reply
Can this be fixed?
Spoo

Re: Reply disappears
It happens to me 90% of the time. I am now used to traveling to the top of the page and clicking the "thread topic" to load it again.

Clear your browser cache.
I'm betting that the majority of posts are done via the Post Quick Reply button and it was as designed.
Wi-fi went down for five minutes, so I had to talk to my family....They seem like nice people.
