[off topic] how to migrate domain network settings.

Please excuse me for posting this here. I don't find a correct sub forum for this.

At work, I needed to install windows 7 64 bit on a different partition (the PC has win 32 bit, I used PAE to access 8 Gb, but 32 bit programs cannot use all the RAM, and I need it).

All works ok on Win 64, except that I cannot join the domain network (something.com), because it rejects the same username and password that I have on the 32 bit windows. The username is recognized, but the only password I know is the one I use for login, and it doesn't works.

The IT people is on vacations, and the dude left only offers to send him the PC until the other dudes return and fix it. Obviously that's a non starter.

So the question is, there is a way to copy the domain network settings from the 32 bit Windows to the 64 bit one? It is the exact same PC.

Thread moved from the 'VB.Net' forum to the 'General PC' forum (which is for computer issues that aren't programming).
