Is the forum off an hour since the reboot this AM?
I see a post by Dil that says 7:06 - but the email says it's at 8:06.
I think it's really from 8:06.
Are we off an hour somewhere since the re-boot this AM (or whatever happened early this morning when the site was down and then half up for a while).

At the bottom of every page is this little gem:
All times are GMT -5. The time now is 03:32 AM.
Which is correct for me.
Wi-fi went down for five minutes, so I had to talk to my family....They seem like nice people.

Re: Is the forum off an hour since the reboot this AM?
I have long thought the Forum times were one hour off. This thread puzzled me so I did some checking.
First conclusion : all is well : All times are GMT -5. All times are correct.
A couple of days later, I noticed times were off again by one hour. More checking.
New conclusion : I use both a Win7 and a Win8 computer to access the internet. I live in the Atlantic zone (GMT -5), and at this time of year, it is actually DST (Daylight saving time). Both computers are properly set up and both show, of course, the exact same time.
But not the Forum. Using Firefox on both computers, the times differ by one hour.
Win 7, forum says : All times are GMT -4
Win 8, forum says : All times are GMT -5
What is the culprit : Win 7, Win 8, DST, Firefox, PHP ?
After considering the various possibilities, I expect the Win 7 computer to get back in line when DST kicks off in the fall, and Win 8 to remain the same. Time will tell.
End of story (for now) ? Not quite.
Just after writing the above (yesterday night), Win7 suddenly says : All times are GMT -5
Now this morning : here are two screenshots taken just one minute apart on the Win7 system. It seems that Win7 has problem deciding on timezones or something.
Third conclusion : The situation is still sketchy in between all possibilities on Win7.
