    Adapters automatically disconnecting

    Hi,

I lot of the one my desktop machines and laptop the different adapters disconnect, in particular the network adapter. I try flushing the cache using "ipconfig/flushdns" but it does not work but if I keep rebooting the machine eventually the adapters start working again. Sorry if the above command is written incorrectly I am on my phone. Does anyone know why this is happening?

    Thanks,

Do you get disconnected while using the computers or while the computer has sat idle for a period of time.

If while idle - look in device manager and disable the power saver feature for the adaptors.
Wi-fi went down for five minutes, so I had to talk to my family....They seem like nice people.

I am not sure if I have ever experienced it when I have been using the computers or not! However, it happens when the computers are in idle state or sometimes when the computers have been turned off then turned on again after a period of time.
