Mono CLR vs .NET CLR
Hey, it's me again. Look, my CIS instructor is teaching us VB.Net, so I get to spend time in the college computer lab using Visual Studio to build .Net programs. Anyway, I have a Mono installation on my Linux computer and would like to know the differences between Mono and the Microsoft .NET framework. Specifically, the latest versions that are not in testing. (I read that Microsoft has officially invited Mono to develop its implementation of the .NET CLR and has open-sourced ASP.NET 5, which is nice.)

Re: Mono CLR vs .NET CLR
Well this is from the Mono compatability page -
The easiest way to describe what Mono currently supports is:
Everything in .NET 4.5 except WPF, WWF, and with limited WCF and limited ASP.NET 4.5 async stack.
See the source page here

Yes although this article may spread some more light on the specifics

Re: Mono CLR vs .NET CLR
Wow, I'm surprised to see at how far Mono has come. From what I read a while back they were running into some walls with Microsoft so I'm glad to see that they're able to work it out.
