    Post Internet of Things Forum

This forum is for discussions and questions around the Internet of Things (IoT), the Internet of Everything (IoE), and "Maker" topics such as Arduino, Galileo, Netduino, Lego Mindstorm, and more. The category is very open and can discussion hardware (sensors, boards, etc.) or software and development.

The forum can also be used to discuss other topics related to IoT such as manufacturing, prototyping, and sales.

This forum is not a place to sell or market products.

    Thanks!

    Re: Internet of Things Forum

Note that if there is enough interest, we can create a "Projects" subdirectory for people to post step-by-step Maker projects. For the first few, post to the main forum. Once (and if) we get a couple, we can then shift them to the subforum.

    As a side note....

I'm often looking for articles to be written. I currently need articles for Codeguru.com on IoT and Maker topics. If interested, submit a pitch to me via email (bjones at QuinStreet dot com). A pitch is simply a tentative title, a couple of sentence description, and when you think you'd turn in the final draft of the article.

I am not only interested in tutorial, how-to, and reference articles, but would also take step-by-step project articles (i.e. How to build a response time tester for Arduino) as well as take videos.

    Brad!

I'm interested in writing about a few topics relevant to this IoT forum's area of interest. Couple of questions though.

Are you paying for these articles?
Do we get to retain copyright?
I don't live here any more.

You would not retain copyright if we pay you for an article. Yes, in some cases I'm paying a small amount for each article we agree to do.

    Re: Internet of Things Forum

    NICE!!

Finally a reason for me to return to vbforums

As you know from the posts I made in Chit Chat, I am also interested in Electronics (in general, and with microcontrollers), Robotics, CNCs, Drones (Multicopters), and latelly I got a 3D Printer, and making my own things...

I always wanted to make a robot, and now I have all the tools neccessary to do it. The last piece of the puzzle is my 3D Printer. Finding time is the biggest challange.

I hope you guys can keep up with me
