audio file to text converter
Hello.
What is the best audio file to text converter software out there?
I tried the google api but it is very unaccurate.
I have audio files of different sources.
Dragon is very accurate, as per review, but you will train it to only one voice.
You will have to buy a separate license for each differing voice.
I need a software that i can just load any audio file and have it transcripted.
It does not necessarily have the accuracy of dragon, but i guess, the discrepancy should be not that far
like that of google api.
Thank you.

Re: audio file to text converter
I do not know of any software that can handle multiple voices! Why do you need a transcript of audio files?
when you quote a post could you please do it via the "Reply With Quote" button or if it multiple post click the "''+" button then "Reply With Quote" button.
If this thread is finished with please mark it "Resolved" by selecting "Mark thread resolved" from the "Thread tools" drop-down menu.

i'd like the answer too. imagine transcribing your professor on-the-fly! Since they are files, have you considered a web service like this one? https://transcribe.wreally.com/how-it-works

Re: audio file to text converter
There is no off the shelf software that can do this. There are packages like Dragon Dictate, which can convert voice to text fairly well, but they need to be trained to recognise a particular voice.
