    VB.Net 2013 express with OPC dll, Error 80040154

    Dear Master,

    Please help me..

    I am trying to connect to OPC server using VB.net program with OPCAutomation.dll.
    When trying to open the list of OPC server, this error shows up:

    "List OPC servers failed with exception: Retrieving COM class factory dor
    component with CLSID{28E68F9A-8D75-11D1-8DC3-3C302A000000} failed due to
    the following error: 80040154."

    How to solve this?
    I am trying to find information from the internet, seems like this is due to compatibility issue between 32bit and 64bit.
    I am using x64 computer.
    I have tried to open vb.net with windows xp sp3 compatibility and ser the project setting Target CPU to x86, but so far cannot solve.

    anyone can help me solve this issue?

    I recall when I was using an OPC server I was having a crazy hard time with DCOM configurations especially when I moved to win7. This was a number of years ago though, so I may be mistaken.
