On my left front pocket is a pen, a usb flash drive, phone and key, at right front is pocket money and at the left back pocket is a hanky. Can't leave house without them. :-)

Re: What is in your pocket?
What is in my pocket. Lol , most useless thread ever, guessing will have a lot of fun here(irrelevant but i always confuse fan with fun).
OK, front right home keys + gym locker keys + a sign of my football team(Panathinaikos) attached to the keyring, front left car keys and 2,10Euros (1Euro + 2 50cents + 10 cents), back right would be my phone but m in the office so i have it left on the desk. You would ask, why don't you leave the other stuff on the desk also, i would answer, that one time, i had lost my keys and they were in my pocket, so i am pretty sure that i will forget my home keys if i leave them on the desk. Ah i also had in my left front a piece of paper in the morning with some direction for a client, now is in the bin and the important thing is that i have torn it in half but i haven't completely torn it, it is still attached in a small portion.I guess that worth 152 brain cells burned.

A bald headed mouse that can sometimes be mistaken for a banana...
Actually:
1. A very small pen knife in the right side pocket.
2. $19.00 in the left side pocket.
3. A wallet in the back pocket.

That brings out the walleting issue. I don't carry wallets because they can easily lost or stolen. I have everything loose in my pockets.

If you use a wallet you only lose it when someone else stands on your head.

Actually i haven't putted a wallet in the back pocket in my entire life. How does it feel?
I have a purse wallet for my vacations (can't carry money in a swimsuit) but i never put it around my waist (it's considered nerdy here).
Mmm,i am thinking a how you dress thread...Mmmm...

Re: What is in your pocket?
I use to own a pair of cargo pants festooned with pockets.
They even had pockets within pockets not unlike those Russian dolls.
I once had a shirt where the entire back was a pocket.
Just to carry around something huge I guess.

These days I have so many meds and electronics I carry a Murse.
One could call this a detachable pocket I guess.
It's a cold pack cloth lunch sack, but I get ribbed about it looking like a Murse.
Contents today:
Toothpaste
Toothbrush
Bag of Flossing sticks.
Tums
Altoids metal box for dry meds.
Two insulin pens
Blood glucose meter
Kindle
Galaxy SII cell phone
USB-3.0 to ethernet pigtail. (For my chromebook)
Ear buds (For my chromebook)
Pen & Mini Notepad.

Ok, I'm back to the land of the pocketed. So...what's in my pockets? Nothing except a credit card and an ID. I'll get my wallet and keys once I get back to my car tomorrow night.

Normal is as normal does.
When ever I hear the word "Pocket" I think of the Move "How to murder your wife"
(Jack Lemon, Verna Lisi 1965)
Where he refers to the cement mixing machine next door as the "Pocketa Pocketa machine".
Great comedy. Too bad they don't make movies like that anymore.

Dylan's answer was my favorite.
For me:
Front Left - One part of a disconnectable key ring with my car and work key.
Front Right - iPhone 5
Rear Left - The other part of the disconnectable key ring with my house and my parent's house key.
Rear Right - Tri-fold wallet

Front left - keys
Front right - watch (yes a pocket watch)
back left - phone (in actuality I have a Galaxy S3 that resides there, but I needed it to take the pic so the iPhone is standing in)
back right - wallet (It's a BigSkinny, a real life saver)

Back in the day most people carried a pocket knife that was not tactical but utilization. Today I do carry a small conventional pocket knife also so not to get screamish reactions from our common people in society. For everyday usage I recommend the Spyderco Delica or Spyderco Endura, not because they are the best but because they are reliable and moderately priced.

I carry a Leatherman multi-tool, but not in my pocket....people might get the wrong idea. A knife just isn't enough. I'm going to need to replace the sheath for the second time pretty soon, as I've about worn through the leather.
