Resize image to 600 pixels wide using Win7-Paint (maintain aspect ratio).

I only happened to notice this poll because I was thinking of doing an image test myself. Shouldn't this thread be in Forum Feedback instead of the Forum Test Area? BB

Re: Test Forum Image Resizing - What looks better?

Well I just realized the image the forum resized (which was uploaded as a PNG) has been changed to a JPG and is only 19KB, whereas the image I resized in windows and upload as a PNG is still a PNG and 47KB.

So the forum is not only shrinking attached images that exceed a 600 pixel width limit, but they are also compressing them into JPGs at a lower quality.
