    how can i grab a systray icon tooltip in vb6 ?

    You might start by posting your question in the right forum. I have asked the mods to move this thread to the VB6 forum, which is for questions, rather than the VB6 CodeBank forum, which is for sharing code samples.

    You also might try a FULL and CLEAR description of the problem. What does "grab a systray icon tooltip" actually mean? Do you mean get the text displayed? We're programmers. We know that you need to use precise language because anything vague can be misinterpreted and end up wasting a lot of time going down the wrong path. Also, what tool tip? A specific application? An arbitrary application? How will your application know which icon to grab the tool tip of? Assume that too many words is better than not enough.

    i have this icon in systray , yahoomessenger.exe , when i moving mouse on that , show a ballon like this : yahoo! messenger
    i wanna grab this tooltip ( yahoo! messenger ) by vb6 api or ...
