    SQL Install problem

    My development machine - Win7 x64

I downloaded and install SQLEXPR_x64_ENU.exe on my Laptop ( Win 8.1 ), so I could test deploying SQL Database apps. The deploy didn't work so I opened my VB .Net on my laptop,
    I created a new project
    Added a new Dataset
Added a TableAdapter to the dataset

Then the wizard asked to Chose the data connection
    I selected "New"
    I selected "Microsoft SQL Server"

But under Server Name, no no SQL Server shows up.

The install wizard said to completed successfully.

Not sure what to do or even how to find the SQL Server 2012 in Win 8.1
