Which is a good free online website builder?
Which is a good free online website builder? I have searched some like wix, weebly, and webs, but they don't allow HTML editing.

depends on what you need. E-shop, forum, dating site (wink). I've heard a lot about one tool that i cannot recall right now but is not Joomla or wordpress or drupal. Maybe magento but not sure. Anyhow...

I personally cannot think of any free HTML site builders mostly because these companies dont want to give away free hosting. By forcing you to use their site builder they can sneak in ads to pay for what they are giving you for free.
You're best off getting a reliable host. You can find them as cheap as $5/month

I think there are a few but they only offer the basics such as html, php, limited storage, etc.

What do you mean? From what I remember 000 hosting allowed editing of html.

Yes, I found that but I am sure if johnxiv googles the words 000 hosting he will find the site I am referring to.

Admin caution:
This thread is asking to get spammed with hosting and tool vendors. If that starts happening, the thread will be closed and removed. It needs to focus on the -free- aspect.
There are two things being discussed here. One is HTML Builders - which I consider more of a tool. The other is hosting, which is where you put that web site after it is built. There are a lot of good, free tools such as Visual Studio Express for Web, and Intel's XDK.
For hosting, what was stated is generally correct - if you want free, then you are going to get limited functionality and you are likely to get ads added to your pages by the host.

Although, the original poster states "website builder" in the title and his initial post with no mention of hosting.

I personally cannot think of any 100 % free HTML website contractors mostly because these companies don't want to give away 100 % free hosting. By pushing you to use their website designer they can put up ads to pay for what they are giving you 100 % free services.
