Acer Aspire 7535 -- broken graphics card?

Need a bit of confirmation on my poorly laptop.

Turned on laptop last night and nothing happened...

    1. It doesn't appear seem to attempt POST ritual.
    2. Black screen (both internal and external screens).
    3. Fans spin and power light comes on.
    4. Battery seems to be charging (judging by LED)
    5. No beeps heard (expected to hear error codes audibly).
    6. Num/caps lock keys do not cause LEDs to light up.

    I've tried (to no avail...)
    1. removing HDD
    2. removing DDR3 RAM
    3. WIFI card
    4. Everything relevant from the service manual

None of these things cause any change in behaviour whatsoever.

I don't really want to tear the entire thing apart to fix it, do you guys know any other things I can try to find out the problem?

This was working 100% fine 2 days ago and now it's a large paperweight. It's not been dropped or moved or anything like that.

Could it just be death by natural causes?
I don't live here any more.

Sounds like a motherboard issue... aka large paperweight.

If its not even booting to BIOS and the keyboard LEDs are not coming on, sounds like its not making it to BIOS... aka motherboard issue. Maybe John has an idea (Cant think of his forum name...)
