Re: Welcome to the New Moderator
Dilettante overstated the case. He could have been more succinct: Nobody go in there!
(ok, it's not grammatically correct, but I'm assuming that dilettante suddenly decided to channel cheesy stereotypical indians at about that moment)
I guess they aren't making the new guy work too hard.

Actually it's surprisingly well behaved in there (with the possible exception of DClamp. No activity at all in fact. Come on, guys. Time to get yer snake on.
I'm still wondering about the "I'm about to be a power poster" part
Actually, me too. I think perhaps Steve changed it when he upgraded the account but I'm not sure. I'll change it myself just as soon as I can come up with a title that adequately conveys my new found magnificence. Would "God of Funk" be too much do you think?

Re: Welcome to the New Moderator
Actually FD I think it should say "Moderator". Steve can add it in with the bold colored formatting like the rest of us have.

Its an avatar contest. Who ever has the best avatar gets to be mod. Black boxes are not attractive. I just realized that could be a double entendre... Awkward...

Re: Welcome to the New Moderator
I don't think I should say what the criteria were (what happens in the mod forums stays in the mod forums and all that) but I will say that there are plenty of other members who I think would have deserved every bit as much, if not more, than me. I was amazed when the offer came my way.

I thought it was more like fight club? Rule 1: You don't talk about the moderator forum. Rule 2: You don't talk about moderator forum.
