    Runtime Error 429 - ActiveX Component Can't Create Object

    Hi,

    I am facing the "Unexpected Error number 429 has occured - ActiveX Component Can't Create Object" while using Package and Deployment Wizard in VB 6
    Please suggest what to do

    First of all does the error occur when you run your project via the VB6 IDE?

    Project is working fine. But when i try to make Deployment Package using Package and Deployment Wizard, it gives the above error

    Are you talking about an error that is actually being thrown by the package and deployment wizard or an error that happens when/after you install the package on another machine?

    Is this problem can be solved?
    I found the same thing when making Package in Win7.
