Whether this is a hoax or not. This is the first time i have seen "throughout the universe" in a terms/conditions document. Of course, I don't spend a lot of time reading terms and conditions. But its an interesting thought. I feel like its important for terms to start including that since technology is evolving so quickly, you never know when you may need to take something off of earth...

Why the hell would Tony Hawk join in on it, if it were a high budget hoax? In my opinion the safety harnesses are to guarantee the safety of the celebrities as hoverboards could be potentially dangerous. I would literally spend $2000 for one of those hoverboards and be like....

How lazy do we have to be to not want to be bothered tightening shoes? Pretty lazy, I suppose, because I use velcro.

In any case, I want my shoe to stay tied, and for it to be removable without a saw, even if I jump in the river.

I thought the same exact thing. I had the opportunity to get Google Glass, but at a price of $1500, no thanks. If they asked me to test that at $2000, I would put it on my credit card in a heartbeat. But it just seems to good to be true. I wont believe it until its on the market or when real people have a board and are reviewing it.

Can you imagine the enenergy density required to get a hoverboard in the air for even a few seconds? I would expect that board to be hot in at least three different senses of the word (four if you stole it).

Oh come on, was anybody really fooled by that? The energy consumption alone would make it impossible with current technology. It may never be possible because the energy density required would be up in the nuclear range.

I thought that WAS a Mr. Coffee (or at least a knock-off). People at the office are always drinking the sludge coming out of one of those things. I never looked too closely at the label, though. I think that explains a lot of people there.
